Spring 2007
Ah yes, New York Fashion. How wonderful. Plenty of fabulous shows, designers, parties. WHy couldn't I have been there. haha. But don't you find it odd that designers display spring 2007 collections, even before fall 2006 has begun? Anyways I'll make my writing short and sweet. Here are three of my favorite shows:

Oscar de la Renta
Classic Collection. This is why I love Oscar.
I love bold prints and colours. And after a long winter, this is the kinda stuff I wanna see to light up my world.
Nicole Miller
I love the flesh tones in this. The boho-chic look was well done, and the patterns and prints were very nice as well.

Someone acutally fell during a show. I feel so bad for that model. In the Proenza Schooler show, a model fell flat on her face. Luckily while everyone was in shock, one kind hearted soul helped her up. She finished the runway, and came out in the end in giant sunglasses, to probably cover up the red eye.

oh that poor girl! how terrible! that is aweful! oh deery me! I feel so bad for that precious little darling... she must have been in the bad graces of the unicorns... did you know that they control karma?! i know it is crazy but they do... so who has decided what they are going to be for halloween? i have of course... take a guess what im going to be............................................................... if you guessed unicorn you guessed right... i mean who wouldnt be a unicorn... i will have the most magestic elegant outfit! i have never herd of such a graceful animal as the unicorn! well any way i have other costume ideas since i took the best one i thought i should probably offer people with alternitives... 1) Princess 2) Pegasus 3)elf queen 4)pony 5) glow stick 6)fairy 7) ice queen 8)dolphin 9)bunny rabit 10) minnie mouse... well any way i hope that helps all you girls out and i apologise for taking the best costume dea for myself!
No need to hate the unicorns... or talk about them nonstop. Anyways-
I feel so so bad for that poor girl! I hope it doesn't damage her chances for jobs in the future that much.
I really like the top in the last picture and the picture two rows above it. So great!

The reason they show the shows an entire season before it will be worn is because the clothes need to be publicized, reviewed and bought, the trends need to be decided, etc. before the season. Did you not buy your fall clothes before the season began? You need to buy the clothes before you actually wear them.
Lol, that was long but I also liked the collection by Oscar and the yellow DVF dress; beautiful.
I loved all those collections this year!!Although the models looked scary at Oscar de la renta lol. The clothes were still A-mazing...That poor model!!

That is just tragic. I hope that girl is still able to find work after this, and it's nice that she didn't become fashion roadkill.
